min read

With its fund for social entrepreneurship, BonVenture III (the Munich-based BonVenture Group) is investing a mid-six-figure amount in the further growth of Volunteer Vision, the first software-as-a-service provider of digital mentorships in the field of CSR (Corporate Social Responsibiliity) as well as D&I (Diversity & Inclusion) technology. This is the first financing round for the start-up founded in 2016, which was financed in advance by an EXIST start-up scholarship and Business Angel.

BonVenture about the investment

"With its proprietary SaaS solution, Volunteer Vision enables companies for the first time to transfer the dynamics and methods of online learning to social engagement - a real breakthrough for the sector. The innovative complete solution enables employees to engage themselves as digital mentors for disadvantaged target groups and thus scales effect. We are very impressed with what the team has achieved since its inception and are convinced that Volunteer Vision can become the market leader for digital mentorships in CSR," said BonVenture partner Angela Lawaldt. "We were particularly impressed by Volunteer Vision's team of founders and its high understanding of the market and technology.".

Volunteer Vision about the investment

"We are pleased to be able to invest further in the expansion of our educational technology through this investment," explains Dr. Suska Dreesbach-Bundy, founder and managing director of Volunteer Vision GmbH. "The special thing about our digital mentorships are the accompanying eLearning curricula, which ensure an effective and goal-oriented exchange. Our mentoring tandems can choose from different digital learning units and work towards the common learning goal through case studies, quizzes and interactive agreements".
